My Visit to my Native. . .

It been long since I have written. So again I have revamped my blog but am giving no promises of regular posts. I will try to post something regularly.

So For this beginning I think Christmas is the right time. Merry Christmas to all. . .

Are you wondering what initiated this post? As I was telling everyone I was lacking inspiration but the best inspiration was in my very own hands. That was; my travel to my native. My son is now 10 months and old enough to observe everything around him and enjoy everything. I found myself showing him all those green fields you see when you are near the station. Then I understood what had been just a vacation for me with my family could be an unbelievable experience for my son. I could see him wide eyed and observing everything.

The food experiences are nothing short of excitement for my son, looking at the trees, plants, flowers, birds, cats everything you don’t get to see in my apartment. I then understood how privileged I had been. He never has his food inside probably except his dinner. He enjoys the sounds of the birds and loves watching the cat running around. I enjoy watching him; stare at everything with unbridled joy and pleasure. It is such a treat to watch him enjoy all the things I grew up with.

I can’t wait to take him to the beach. We got loads of beaches around here. I enjoy beaches immensely and I don’t mean the crowded ones (not that I don’t like them) but those deserted ones with probably a few families here and there. I want to see if he enjoys it. I have taken him to beach before but it was at night so there was nothing for him to enjoy. But trust me when I say this is absolutely the wrong season to visit a beach here in Nagercoil. Not that it prevents us from visiting the beach; we go there against all odds.
